Quilt History Day

Quiltopia is honored to be partnering with the Oregon Quilt Project

in commemorating Quilt History Day.

Please join program facilitator and quilt history expert, Mary Bywater Cross

for a time of celebrating the Quilt Revival in Oregon since 1970.

The presentation will take place twice in the

Willamette Heritage Center's 2nd floor Classroom

located in the Mill building on Friday, Nov 1st at 10:00a.m. & 1PM

Come, learn or share your Oregon experience quilt!

The national Quilt Revival, beginning in the 1970s, has a long and rich history of activities, participation, and interest in Oregon. Many quilt guilds were established presenting annual shows, classes,

and competitions.

Plan to attend and share your story, experience, and quilt. Significant quilts and personal scrapbooks from this era will be shown. Space is limited, so we ask that you reserve your spot by emailing us at quiltopiaoregon@gmail.com.

Quiltopia visitors will also be able to view the

Oregon Quilt Project’s exhibition Stitches and Stories

during the show in the exhibit room on the 2nd floor

of the Mill building.
